Efficacy of acupuncture and Chinese herbal fumigation comprehensive therapy in relieving neck, shoulder, lumbar, and leg pain in patients

Purpose: To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and Chinese herbal fumigation in relieving neck, shoulder, lumbar, leg pain patients. 
 Methods: This study recruited 94 patients with admitted to Ma’anshan Hospital Traditional Medicine between January 2019 December 2020. The were randomized into either group or comprehensive group. Study was given routine therapy, including administration celecoxib capsules imrecoxib tablets, fumigation, acupuncture, while received tablets + rehabilitation exercise needle knife therapy. treatment outcome, traditional medicine (TCM) syndrome score, visual analogue scale (VAS) Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) Barthel index, Fugl-Meyer MOS item short-form health survey (SF-36) scores recorded. Results: Comprehensive therapy resulted significantly better outcomes than (p < 0.05). swelling, pain, functional limitation TCM evidence score lower those associated a more significant reduction VAS enrichment JOA index Patients treated showed higher FuglMeyer (upper limb limb) SF-36 Conclusion: Acupuncture effectively relieve promote recovery lumbar spine function as well motor ability, thereby enhancing patient’s quality life.
